A VIRTUOUS WOMAN (Proverbs 31), (Proverbs 18:22)

A virtuous woman who can find
She is worth more than rubies sent from the Divine
Her husband’s heart safely trusts in her
Faithful, loving, and true, a woman of good character
Uniting with her he has no worries and no lack of gain
She loves and helps him she doesn’t whine, murmur, or complain
His life with her is good and she does him no evil
Too busy working to gossip, slander, and disrespect him with other people
She works skillfully and deliberately with her hands
Thinking wisely, while working out all her business plans
When everyone sleeps she prepares food for her household
She shares with her helpers from them she doesn’t withhold
Land she purchases plants a garden and grows her own food
With her fortitude and diligence, selling her produce much did accrue
Planting is not her only talent and gift
Spinning fibers through a spindle she makes fine fabrics
Oh she is compassionate, giving, kind, and so much more
This woman is not greedy she gives to the needy and to the poor
The weather doesn’t stop her from taking care of her business
Industriously working her family and the community bear witness
Her household is safe, peaceful, and well-cared-for
She makes the finest clothing for herself, her husband, her family, and those within her door
Her husband is known and respected because of her good influence
She progresses to make garments and sell them to various merchants
Strength, wisdom, honor, and righteousness are her intrinsic qualities
Productive, tenacious she has no time to idle her character is one of dignity
Her children adore her and they call her blessed
Her husband praises her and says he has a treasure, he has found the best
Many women have done well but she excels them all
Charm is deceitful and beauty fades no more to enthrall
This woman she fears the Lord and this is why she is forever praised
Her life of faithfulness, commitment, and good works show her fruits for all her days
This type of woman is to be desired and pursued by every righteous man
This is the perfect example of a virtuous woman.

IDOLATRY’S SNARE (Mark 8:36)

God our Father made man, the earth, the air, land, and sea
He gave His only son Jesus Christ to die for the sins of you and me
He gave us life to live abundantly in this beautiful world too
All He asks is for us to reverence, worship, and adore Him as we ought to do
Yet most worship idols who take 1st, only, and all His place
No fear, reverence for God our supreme Father it is like a slap in the face
To Him only are we to bow down and serve
However, the idols of fame, money, lust, and other gods get what He deserves
Then you act shocked and confused when He gets angry and jealous (Exodus 34:14)
When His wrath is executed for your rebellion, you have the nerve to ask why He is so zealous
If you had a love who gave everything in life
Only to have them leave you for someone who led them to their demise
Would you not admonish them about the dangers of their idolatry
Especially when they are being seduced by its crafty subtlety
Read 1 John 5 verses 21 and 1 John 2 verses 15 to 17
This shows God in his love and mercy always trying to redeem
These days idolatry is almost everywhere
God’s faithful children beware of idolatry’s snare.

NARCISSISTIC MANKIND (2Timothy 3:2)

The minds of men governing themselves remain hostile toward God
Lawless, prideful, and rebellious they skip along life with a proud nod
To submit to God’s law they scoff, refuse, and say no
Enjoying themselves, pleasure-seeking, boundaryless anything and everything goes
No surprise year after year the world degenerates and increases the disasters we see
God’s law they refuse and trade it all for debauchery
The fabric of society eaten away by moral decay
Deluded and blind, stating they are fine living a life of liberty they say
The consequences of breaking God’s law shall never go away
Read for yourself Isaiah 55 verses 6 and 7
His reproving words are clear to those who continue to live in their transgressions
There is still a little time to turn your life around it is called repentance
Read 2 Peter 3 verse 9 our loving, merciful Father will accept or sincere penance
Seek the Lord now while He is not hard to find
This is for you the Narcissistic Mankind.

WHY SHOULD WE DIE? (James 1:14-16)

Can we not hear the painful cries?
Take a good look into each other eyes
We have more in common if we take the time to communicate
Please understand this recognize and appreciate
Animals are loved, protected and they deserve to be
Are we not worth more to each other based on our humanity?
Lustful passion in man makes it easy for him to destroy
Another man with precision and skill he fully deploys
Everything with the breath of life experiences pain
Now add hatred, fear, animosity and disdain
Fear you say justifies you
However, it justifies the other side too
When will all this fighting and destruction end
When each man becomes a brother and the other’s friend
Now is the time for everyone to try
Why should we die?

ALCOHOL’S RAGE (Proverbs 20:1)

Alcohol you allow me to be free
Free to express the hidden things inside of me
This does come at a pricey cost its true
When my anger rages and it can’t be subdued
The problem is I can’t resist
When alcohol calls me and insist
The more I consume
The more I presume
My life spirals out of control
Then I drink some more hoping it will console
Realizing this relationship is unfair
I get upset, and drink again this is too much to bear
I feel so trapped like in a cage
When I feel the sting of Alcohol’s Rage.

WINE YOU MOCK ME (Proverbs 20:1)

Wine you taste so very sweet
Subtle, slippery, and quite discreet
More, more, more you do insist
Sip after sip you, I can’t resist
One glass is not enough for the day
Day by day you keep taking me away
My heart races, my speech is slurred
Symptoms are not strong enough to deter, you I much prefer
I sit at the wine’s table and I call you my friend
Friend my dear to the bitter end
What I am unable to see
Is how wine you mock me.

MANUFACTURED BY MAN (NO MODESTY)

There will be no shame, no modesty
Man loves to revise what God has made us to be
With no respect or reverence for the intricacies of the work of the divine
Manufacturing cars, homes, clothing, computers, and inanimate objects are fine
Human manufacturing leads to degradation of their value and loss of identity
Vulnerable to group thinking and cultural conformity
This is the pervasive culture we have been inundated with today
Mass production of lust, lawlessness, perversion, injustice, and moral decay
Gathering large followers to influence each other deluded, shameless, and strong
Oblivious to the fact that the path they have chosen is manufactured and is wrong
This is what happens to humans caught up in pride, hype, and hypocrisy
Manufactured by man there will be no modesty.

MY INFALLIBLE GPS (God’s Protective Service) John 14:16 and 26, John 16:13

This wonderful gift you have granted me
To be with me throughout eternity
A gift so gentle, patient, loving and so powerful too
Faithful, and unrelenting when I was lost he did not fail to pursue
Softly whispering the truth to me to endear
Patiently waiting for me to listen and hear
Finally, I heard and answered his call
Then he came into my life and he has never let me fall
Guiding me gently on every matter in my life
Protecting me from the enemy’s snares, grief deception, sorrow, and strife
Always speaking to me telling me where and when to go
Leading me closer to the great light, and amazing places I do not know
While others might choose and refuse to listen and hear his sweet and soft request
I live safe, at peace, and rest because of my infallible GPS.

SAUL’S DISOBEDIENCE BECAME ESTHER’S DIVINE ASSIGNMENT

Saul the first king of Israel a Benjamite
Given orders from God to destroy King Agag, the Amalekite
Failing to obey God and His sovereign word
Instead, Saul kept King Agag and the spoils he much preferred
God stripped Saul of his position as Israel’s king
His disobedience lived on in Haman consequences reverberating
Centuries later this became Mordecai and Esther’s plight
These two Benjamites had to save the Jews at the risk of their own lives
All because King Saul centuries before failed to completely obey
The omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent God and all he had to say
Queen Esther (Hadassah) God raised for her time and she was not remiss
Correcting Saul’s error, she courageously obeyed refusing to dismiss
Read 1 Samuel and Esther this is part of the requirement
To see for yourselves how Saul’s disobedience became Esther’s Divine Assignment
