EMUNAH’S CHILD

We acknowledge and believe this your report
That you have revealed to us, we do exhort
No outward beauty or majesty
Those persons would even gather to see
Rejected, despised, hated, and ignored
Not celebrated, honored, or much-adored
Though he bore our sorrow and our grief
He was derided and treated much like a thief
Thought him smitten of God, forsaken and afflicted
Crushed for our iniquities, the suffering inflicted
Pierced in his side, for all our sins to release
Wounded for our transgression, chastisement for our peace
His stripes were an exchange for our healing
Our destinies for sure that he was sealing
Like sheep, we have all gone astray
Each one has turned to his own selfish way
So the Lord laid on him our sins and iniquities
Knowing omnisciently, that his death was our victory
Neither violent nor deceitful, why then was he charged?
His authenticity mocked with vehement disregard
Accused and arrested his imprisonment unfair
Judgment, trials, his scourging like no other to compare
A sheep before the shearers he opened not his mouth
Like a lamb to the slaughter, they slapped him, spat, screamed, and shout
The most brutal punishment ever devised
For the guiltless one most unjustly despised
Psalm 22 speaks of what would happen to you
Hundreds of years before this event, who dare misconstrue
Stripped of your garments, nailed both your hands and your feet
Cast lots for your clothing, prophecy is now complete
Bones out of joint, they gloated and glared with such cruelty
Painfully bearing it all, you fulfilled the written prophecy
Death on Golgotha, your innocent blood, the penalty to pay
God’s hatred for sin now redeemed and all washed away
Buried without honor in a sinner’s grave
Conquered death and hell for humanity to save
It was the Lord’s perfect will for you to die
For in 3 days your body temple did arise
All nations heard of your love, miracles, and fame
Therefore your suffering was not in vain
Among the powerful and the great
Today you own your rightful place
However, you are placed above them all
For your soul was the sacrifice for both great and small
Interceding as only you can do
Your righteousness, indeed qualifies you to
In your heavenly sanctuary way above
With mercy, grace, and your perfect love
This revelation is undefiled
Written with joy as Emunuah’s Child.

HAMAN THE MAN FULL OF HATE

There was a wicked man, who lived in the Persian land
King Ahasuerus’s confidant, Haman the name of that man
He was arrogant, vengeful, proud, and pompous
Enraged because Mordecai would not bow to him or make a fuss
Haman used his connection to the king
His ring to plot genocide against the Jews to bring
Mordecai entreated Queen Esther to intercede
To overturn Haman’s evil plot and very wicked deed
Queen Esther and all the Jews fasted for God to them to hear
Now Haman and his family would have much to fear
God reversed Haman’s diabolical plan
As King Ahasuerus decided to celebrate Mordecai, this is where it all began
Haman had to parade Mordecai on the king’s horse
Yelling to everyone “Admire Mordecai”, Haman had no recourse
Queen Esther to King Ahasuerus revealed she too was a Jew
Haman desperate, at a loss for words did not know what to do
On the gallows 50–cubits–high, Haman built
Prepared for Mordecai without remorse or even guilt
On it, Haman and his ten sons were hanged
Did not quite work out as Haman carefully planned
Esther and Mordecai bravely saved the Jews
Purim each year celebrates this victorious news
Read the book of Esther for more of this story so great
Don’t be like Haman the man full of hate.

WORLD UNRAVELING

Shrouded in blatant unrighteousness
Lost truth, goodness, and auspiciousness
Any and everything goes
Always say yes, and don’t dare say no
No boundaries, rules, or self-respect
The masses say they’re politically incorrect
Offense and pride cover both their ears and their eyes
Blinded, they fail to see the inevitable demise
Wrong is now right and right is now wrong
Degeneration has sung loudly its song
Continue to mock, laugh, and pretend
The prophecy shall be fulfilled in the end
Flaunting their excessive luxuries, their cornucopia on display
Moral decadence is the order of the day
7 Deadly Sins is the name of their policy
Fear, confusion, chaos, hatred, and duplicity
This debauchery is the mission to demoralize
Shock, silence, complicity, and compromise
Reprobate, irreverent, and blissfully misinformed
Bondage, doom, and destruction, if they refuse to transform
Then we all will come to know the truth
However, some will eat its bitter fruit
The time is now to self-correct
Stand up and live in righteousness
Circumcise now your hardened hearts
From evil, all are warned to quickly depart
Humble yourself both great and small
This is an unpopular altar call
Forget about all the flattery
Before the imminent catastrophe
Listen to the Lord, he is your God
Greater than everything he is the God of all gods
He is the King of all kings
He is the Lord of all lords
He protects the widows and powerless
He defends the foreigners and the fatherless
Great and awesome only is He
He shows no partially
He is fair, merciful, and kind
He requires your commitment, heart, soul, and mind
He cannot be bought he accepts no bribes
He is righteousness without compromise
Him only shall we serve
The only God who heals, saves, and preserves
Examine your lives while there is still a little time
Cease scoffing, distracting, fighting, and denying
Look around, the world is unraveling.

MANY VERSUS THE CHOSEN FEW

There is the prevailing existential plight
The world says for sure the majority is right
Many are called but few are chosen
Wide and broad the gate to mass destruction
Most shall depart from their faith
Choosing the seduction of the Broad gate
Hateful, offended betraying those who chose to go through
The narrow strait gate they rejected and refused to pursue
All a part end-time time prophecy
Sadly ironic this dichotomy
As spoken in Matthew 7 verse 13
Fulfills God’s word so true and sovereign
Wide the gate so strategically placed for mankind
The narrow gate so inconspicuous and hard to find
The mass opinion does not make things true
For the many versus the chosen few

BULLY, I KNOW YOU (Exposed)

I know why you do what you do
You have learned from someone close to you
I know why you act out
Flaunting, shouting, and bragging to gain some clout
I know why you hit and try to hurt me
To disguise your fragile identity
I know why you play your mind games
To ignore and distract yourself from your pain
Power, control, manipulation, and fame
This you so desperately try to obtain
Change now while you can
Go back to where it all began
For if you refuse and continue to be
You will experience your atrocity
Dare to say that this is not true
Bully, I know you

RESPECT IS A TWO-WAY STREET

Respect my friend fosters harmony
It is about you and it is about me
Though you tend to misunderstand
One-sided respect you force and demand
The way you treat others so disrespectfully
Shows everyone your hypocrisy
You’re so lost within yourself
That you fail to see anyone else
Self-obsessed, you’re too blind to see
Your selfish, entitled, supremacy
Unpleasantly demanding of everyone else
That which is absent in yourself
Before you mistreat and reach out for that you seek
Remember my friend, respect is a two-way street.

ONLY GOD CAN FILL YOUR EMPTINESS

Come reason and see
The simplicity of this mystery
Glamor, wealth, luxury, and fame
Still, the emptiness, guilt, shame, and pain
Flood gates of sorrow you fight so hard to hide
Cannot be masked with status, pomp, and pride
Pretending to be the very best
When alone, there’s no joy, no peace, no rest
The source that promised this wealth and fame
Omitted the rules of his wicked fame game
The dark one knocks timely on fame’s inviting door
Collecting what he has given, and so much more
What this dark source failed to tell you
Was to read the wisdom in Proverbs 10:22
All that is happening to you
Your fruits show who gave what to who
To gain the whole world and lose one’s mind
Is not the plan of the creator our beloved Divine?
If peace, contentment, and joy flood your soul
Then it was granted to you, from the Divine Ancient One of Old
Present to Him, your heart, soul, and will combined
Then prosperity, peace, and honor, you surely will find
No other source can fill you up
This is not about will, nor is it about luck
Taste and see that God’s words are true
Then sorrow and grief will flee from you
Choose God today, the choice is yours
Only God can fill your emptiness.

IF I TOLD YOU WOULD YOU BELIEVE ME?

If I told you, would you believe me?
There is a war for your destiny
Your life is the battle between two kingdoms unseen
In the grand finale, you will wake up from this dream
Wake up to see the truth so vehemently ignored
In favor of the life this world, fanatically adored
Not worth it now that it is the end
Herewith the enemy you thought was your friend
Was sure you had won in your protest and dispute
Offended by those who spoke the gospel truth
Look at them now so joyful over there
Their eternal life in bliss they all do share
Rejoicing and singing, they all say Amen
For you, eternal damnation again and again
If you could have one more chance to be free
You would listen, hear, and believe me.

9 MINUTES IN THE MYSTERY

Glimpses of my destiny
He heard and he answered me
Transcending time, logic, and space
Held in his safe embrace
Our journey to places unknown
His presence, peace like a crescendo enthroned
Desiring to remain with him there
Where there is no thought, no fear, and no care
It was then that he said to me
Your work is there my sweet trustee
So this I must imbue
I share my encounter with you
To everything, there’s a season and a time
Mine exemplified in this rhyme
Divinity has visited me
It was 9 minutes in the mystery.
